my boyfriend is a dragon pt 2

hmmm... lets see where did i leave off? oh right erik walked past my house

i couldn't help pondering where erik was going as i got up to go to school that day. i guessed i could ask him, but then he might ask a question back... i'd better not risk it. i quickly grabbed the metal rod that turned into a spear and stuck it in my pocket, running for school

Erik was already sitting in his desk next to mine in the back of the class, drawing something in his notebook. i walked behind him to get a glimpse, he was quite the artist... he drew a beautiful sunset over the ocean, but the only thing i didn't like was the creature in the center of the picture. a dragon with flame like marks on it's back and limbs, half flying out of the water. i guess it was my hate of dragons that made me automatically despise the picture. i sat down in my seat, then suddenly i was poked on the shoulder. i turned to look at erik and he asked "what you have something against dragons?  i saw that look" he smiled a bit

i blink "dragons are evil, creatures of destruction that horde treasure and kill people for no reason" i said as if it was obvious
erik looked, well i couldn't quite read his expression... offended possibly? "yes some dragons are like that, but only a small few" he said returning to his work in a way that ended the converstation

the class period proceeded normally, but i was destracted by Erik's comment.... around the middle of the class i suddenly grabbed my stomach and moaned slightly, "my dad's casserole is fighting back"(my dad is a terrible cook) i managed. i quickly raised my hand and immeditally got perrmission to go to the nurse (i had had this problem before and the teacher knew it wasn't pretty) and a boy named james offered to escort me to the nurse. james was taller than me, and had short brown hair and round glasses, he was a quiet kid and never spoke much. no one usaully talked to him because everyone who got near him would get chills and run. but i was in so much pain i didn't complain

we quickly walked down the hall way to the nurses office, but strangly my stomach ache stopped hurting about half way there. then james suddenly put a hand over my mouth and dragged me into an empty class room "JAMES!! what are you doing?" i tried to yell but i came out like "MGHMMM MH MGPF"
he smiled revealing fangs "I'm hungry and your prey" his eyes turned red and his nails grew out into long thin claws. a single thought crossed my mind 'vampire' possibly the most evil creature to ever walk the earth, even more blood thristy than dragons.
he laughed "well miss dragon hunter it looks like your about to become my lunch, and don't even think about your spear" his claws touched my neck.
"how did you know" i managed
"not important" his eyes flashed and my mind began to drift and i felt numb "it's much easier to drain your blood if you can't strugg- gack!" he was suddenly interupted by a fist the caught his face, literally throwing him acrossed the room. i fell to the ground asnd my vision was blurry but i managed to see most of what was going on.

the figure who punched James walked over and picked up the vampire by the collar with one hand. "what do you think your doing!?" he said, i knew that voice, but my mind couldn't process who it belonged too.
"i was- i was just...." james stuttered "well i didn't think you would mind, she is a hunter after all"
the figure drew his fist back and socked james again, i could've sworn i saw a 3 inch fan fly out... "i don't care what she is, as long as i'm here you will harm no one anymore! unless you want to challenge me and see who is stronger"
"n-no" james said as the figure dropped him. then i blanked out

when i woke up i was in the nurses office  i looked around and saw Erik talking with my dad.... oh boy. then erik looked at me and smiled "hey loo she woke up!" he laughed
my dad rushed over to me worried "are you okay!? they called me and said you passed out in the middle of class!" then he leaned in closer "also that this boy here carried you all the way to the nurses office" he smiled and erik just waved. i must've gone redder than a tomato, but i was confused. i hadn't passed out and what had happen to james the vampire? my dad stood "i'm going to go talk to the nurse" he said and walked out
i looked at erik "i thought james was taking me to the nurse for a stomach ache?" i asked him trying to find out what happened
he looked at me like i was stupid "no, wow i think you hit your head when you feel out. James wasn't even at school today" he shook his head and stood "i have to get back to class, ta!" he said walking off....

*that night*oh god sometime i just want to kill my dad! he invited Erik over to dinner just for carrying me to the nurse. speaking of witch he was teasing me about how i blushed when he mentioned that, oh god if this was how my dad acted what would my friends at school think!?

i was giving erik a small tour of the house and we ended up in my room. Erik was looking at the sword that hung up on my wall. a long sword, the hilt had a shining blue Sapphire planced in the center (which was supposed to glow in the presence of evil) he then turned his attention to the skull on my desk and frown "is that a dragon skull?" he asked
"what? uh no, well it's a fake dragon skull, you know those don't exist" i waved it off dismissively. oh crap! i forgot to hide the skull! of all the stupid things!
he picked it up and examined it "don't lie to me, i know skulls and this is real bone, and completely natural" he glared at me with that unreadable expression
i sighed "okay its real, yes dragons are real, and they are destructive and evil to the core. my dad and i are dragon hunters"
he didn't say anything or change his expression, but simply went down stairs halfway out of the room he looked back at me "we don't have to mention you let that slip to your father" then he walked out leaving me speachless
